Lavender Disinfecting Wipes
Showroom-clean cabin. In one pull.
Lifts dust, fingerprints, and grime from dashboard, leather seats, steering wheel, and touchscreens — without water, residue, or that chemical smell
Description
Disinfection that actually works — and doesn't smell like a hospital.
Most disinfecting wipes solve the germ problem but introduce a new one: that harsh, clinical smell that lingers in your kitchen and bathroom for hours. Core Clean Lavender Disinfecting Wipes use the same hospital-grade quaternary ammonium formula trusted in clinics and food-processing facilities — paired with a calming lavender fragrance so your home smells like a fresh laundry shelf, not a sterilisation room.
Each canister contains 100 dual-textured wipes. The smooth side handles daily touch-ups: counters, doorknobs, light switches, phones. The textured scrub side cuts through stuck-on grime: dried sauce on the stove, toothpaste splatter on the bathroom mirror, sticky fingerprints on the fridge. One product, two textures, no second cloth needed.
Alcohol-free, bleach-free, non-flammable. Made in India to international quality standards.
Important: For full disinfection, keep the surface visibly wet for 4 minutes. For everyday cleaning and fragrance, a quick wipe is enough. For food-contact surfaces, rinse with potable water after disinfecting.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients:
- Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride — 0.20% (quaternary ammonium disinfectant; kills bacteria and enveloped viruses)
- n-Alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride — 0.20% (50%C14, 40%C12, 10%C16) (broad-spectrum quaternary ammonium disinfectant)
- Other ingredients — 99.60% (purified water, lavender fragrance, conditioning carriers, non-woven viscose fabric)
Free from:
- No alcohol (won't dry out treated surfaces)
- No bleach or chlorine
- Non-flammable
A note on "essential oils" and "natural": Our Quaternary Ammonium actives are synthetic — that's what makes them hospital-grade. The lavender scent comes from added fragrance compounds (which include lavender essential oil). We don't position this as an aromatherapy product. We position it as a disinfectant that happens to smell like lavender. If you're looking for a genuinely "plant-based only" cleaner, this isn't it — and we'd rather tell you that than mislead you.
How To Use
1. Open canister. Remove the lid and tear off the foil seal completely. Insert the centre of the wipe roll through the lid hole, pull it through, and re-cap.
2. Pull one wipe at a time. Towards you, through the lid. The next wipe will load automatically.
3. Choose your side. Smooth side for dust, daily touch-ups, screens. Textured scrub side for stuck-on grime — kitchen splatter, dried toothpaste, fingerprints.
4. For everyday cleaning: Wipe the surface and let air-dry. Done. (This gives you cleaning + fragrance, not full disinfection.)
5. For full disinfection: Use enough wipes so the surface stays visibly wet for 4 minutes. For virus inactivation, a minimum of 15 seconds of wet contact.
6. For very dirty surfaces: Clean off excess dirt with one wipe first, then use a fresh wipe to disinfect.
7. Air dry. No towel-buffing needed. Do not flush used wipes — bin them.
Safe on:
Hard nonporous surfaces — kitchen counters (rinse after if food-contact), bathroom tiles, sinks, taps, toilet seats, doorknobs, light switches, phones, desks, plastic and laminate furniture, glass.
Use with care on:
Untreated wood, raw leather, suede, anti-glare matte screens, polished marble. Test on a hidden spot first. For food-prep surfaces, rinse with potable water after disinfecting per FSSAI guidance.
FAQ
Q. Is this an essential-oil / aromatherapy product?
No, and we want to be straight about that. The lavender is a fragrance — pleasant, calming, but not an active therapeutic ingredient. The actives are quaternary ammonium compounds ("quats"), the standard class of surface disinfectants used in hospitals, clinics, and food-processing plants. If you want aromatherapy, buy an essential oil diffuser. If you want a surface that's actually disinfected — and smells nice while you do it — these wipes are for you.
Q. Are these "chemical-free" or "natural"?
No. Anyone selling you "chemical-free disinfecting wipes" is either confused about chemistry or being dishonest. To kill bacteria and viruses on a surface, you need an active chemical disinfectant. We chose quaternary ammonium compounds because they're proven, broad-spectrum, and gentler than alcohol or bleach — not because they're "natural."
Q. How long does the lavender smell last?
A few hours on most surfaces, depending on ventilation. The fragrance is on the wipe and transfers to the surface during use. The smell is part of the experience — but it's not what disinfects.
Q. Can I use these in my kitchen?
Yes — that's one of the main use cases. For general counter cleaning, just wipe and let dry. For food-contact surfaces (chopping boards, the area where you'll place a peeled fruit), do an extra step: after wiping, rinse with potable water and let dry. This is standard practice for any quat-based disinfectant per FSSAI guidance.
Q. Are these safe around kids, pets, and pregnant women?
Once the surface dries, residue is minimal. Avoid direct skin contact with wet wipes during use (rinse hands afterward). Keep the canister out of reach of small children. Don't use on baby toys, pacifiers, or feeding equipment — for those, use plain soap and water.
Q. How many wipes per canister, and how big are they?
100 wipes per canister. Each wipe is approximately 7" × 8" (18 × 20 cm). Large enough to wipe a full bathroom sink or two kitchen counter panels without folding.
Q. What about the brand's main site saying "plant-based fibers" and "biodegradable"?
We're in the middle of updating our brand-wide copy to be more precise. The non-woven fabric used in our wipes contains viscose, which is derived from wood pulp — that's the basis of those older claims. But the wipe is treated with synthetic disinfecting chemicals, so the final product is not biodegradable in the way a piece of plain cotton would be. Don't flush them. Bin them.
Q. Is this product certified?
Yes. The product carries CE, ISO, and FDA-tested formulation marks (visible on the bottle). Manufactured in India by Core Clean Private Limited, Gurugram, Haryana. Each canister has a batch code and a 24-month best-before date.
